Dear Addi P.,

I’m dealing with a situation involving confidentiality in the workplace. An employee came to me to talk about something and asked me to keep it confidential. I agreed. But the nature of what she told me will require that I get other people involved. I do not want to betray her trust, but I also need to make sure the situation is properly addressed.
