Good emailing skills

However, when it comes to HR managers, emailing can mean so much more than simply reading a virtual letter of intent. Emails have become basic tools when it comes to workplace technology, and they are now essential for most workers. Moreover, candidates who manage to send powerful and concise messages via email may prove they have different skills that can ultimately recommend them for any job, like using a laptop/personal computer with ease, creative writing, and good research.

Emailing skills are extremely important when choosing new employees, even more so if they can pinpoint other skills.

Using video conferencing apps

According to Statista, Zoom Video Communications has been an important beneficiary of the changes brought about by the recent healthcare crisis. Like many other video conferencing apps, Zoom saw an unprecedented surge in usage during the pandemic, and new data shows that this growth may be here to stay for years to come. During the crisis, workers around the world needed to use video conferencing apps like Zoom and others to keep in touch with their managers and colleagues, organize efficient training sessions, or host meetings for the most important clients. While the pandemic is now probably reaching its end, the skills and habits developed during the last two years will most likely endure.

Using video conferencing apps is now important for workers because this is a new tech skill. This ability has been shown to increase productivity, save time, lower travel expenses, and generally promote collaboration. 

While many technical skills are now essential when filling a particular position for a specific company, there are also tech skills every employee needs in 2022. Among them are being social media-savvy, sending professional emails, and using video conferencing apps with ease. HR managers in the US and abroad should note these skills as essential for most jobs, and they can even decide to use them as tests to rank candidates during the recruitment process.
