Alue Acquires Quintegral to Boost HR Training and Global Competitiveness

July 23, 2024

Tokyo-based human resources development firm Alue has announced its acquisition of Quintegral Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Trainocate Holdings Co., Ltd., for JPY 225 million (USD 1.4 million), effective October 18, 2024. This strategic move is aimed at enhancing Alue’s HR training services, particularly for senior-level employees. Quintegral, which was established in 2012, is a member of the American Management Association (AMA) and specializes in leadership, management, and communication courses. It offers a variety of training services, including application, sales, marketing, consulting, and solutions for global HR development, underscoring its robust portfolio.

Strengthening Global Competitiveness

Founded in 2003, Alue has traditionally catered to major domestic companies, focusing on achieving significant outcomes in human resource development. The company believes that by incorporating AMA’s training programs, it can strengthen its business focus on developing globally active human resources. The acquisition is seen as a pivotal step to offer consistent high-value-added training programs across all levels of employees, thereby facilitating Alue’s further growth. This integration will help Alue to not only enhance its existing training modules but also open up avenues for new, innovative training solutions.

A Unified Training Framework

In summary, Alue’s acquisition of Quintegral aims to address the challenge of bolstering its training services for high-level employees by integrating AMA’s methodologies. This move is not just about expanding their program offerings; it represents a comprehensive approach to unify their training services under a common framework. By doing so, Alue aims to compete more effectively on a global scale, highlighting this acquisition as a strategic effort to expand its capabilities and achieve sustained growth in the human resources development sector.
