Assam and Novo Nordisk Foundation Partner to Enhance Nursing Education

In a landmark move to revolutionize healthcare in Assam, Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Novo Nordisk Foundation, a leading Danish philanthropic institution. The agreement, finalized in the presence of Assam’s Chief Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, aims to improve healthcare through an array of initiatives. These include the enhancement of nursing education and the establishment of an Education Innovation Unit and Simulation Lab at the Regional Nursing College.
