Freelancing sounds like a great idea on paper, and it definitely is in practice as well. For one thing, you can make your own schedule. You can decide what projects to take on, and how much to charge (more or less). And since you’re getting paid by the project, you know exactly how much effort to invest, and how much money you’re getting out of it. There’s no overtime, no end-of-the-month quotas. And, most important, you get to do the thing you like for a living.
